Deacons and Elders of Christ Presbyterian Church
Our elected deacons and elders serve along with dozens members at large to make our community work, plan and implement programs, worship, Christian formation, good stewardship of our campus and resources, and Christian Witness as we seek to live out the gospel.
The focus of the Deacon Board is to minister to those who are in need, to the sick, to the friendless and to any who may be in distress. We are here to care for the members of the church. Each deacon takes a turn serving as a point person (“Deacon of Call”) who coordinates care (meals, transportation and other material assistance) for members in need. We seek to facilitate communication from our members to the leadership in the church, which also gives the Deacons a more informed prayer focus. We take seriously the need for confidentially in all cases. We coordinate each year the delivery of Poinsettias and Easter Flowers to our shut-ins. We are responsible for the annual reception which honors those who have been members for over fifty years. It is a joy and a privilege to serve this congregation.

Session is our governing body, made up of 12 elected elders, and is responsible for providing leadership and setting our strategic direction as a church. Session meets on the fourth Monday of each month to review and take action on current matters before the church.
