International Ministry

English Conversation Time

English Conversation Time is an informal gathering of international students, visiting scholars and Americans for English practice, friendship and cross-cultural exchanges.

This program provides international students and visiting scholars a safe, relaxed, outside-the-classroom opportunity to interact with individual Americans, American families and other international community members drawn from diverse backgrounds. American volunteers also benefit from the program as they learn from participants about life in other corners of the world. It’s a great way for them to expand their horizons and learn about the different cultures represented in Madison as well as to develop friendships with individuals from other countries. The Center for International Education at Madison College, English as a Second Language (ESL) at UW-Madison, the Wisconsin English as a Second Language Institute (WESLI), and the Dane County Literacy Network all view our English Conversation Time program as a strategic partner that provides a supportive environment for their students and helps them connect with the Madison community.

Seniors in Faith

Considering aging from a Biblical perspective, Seniors in Faith is a group of older adults who seek fellowship and support for the spiritual, emotional, social and physical needs of the seniors at CPC and beyond. Come join us for Bible Study and discussion of pertinent topics about aging.
